The head of state traveled to speak to defense personnel in the eastern front on the weekday. Zelenskyy announced that he engaged with soldiers at the military base of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, an urban center approximately 20km from the focal point.

Critical Circumstances in Pokrovsk

Recent mapping from a national effort indicated that invading troops had pushed further into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though significant areas remained beyond firm control by any party. The status is precarious, with updates indicating that invading units were digging in and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Opposition armies continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and seem to be functioning with enhanced confidence within the city proper.
